September 4, 2012, Shenzhen - "One, Two, Three, Four, let's go to school!" the mother Tan Chaoyun said loudly to her four sons who are quadruplets on September 1 when schools in China reopen to old students and enrol new students.
The quadruplets from Baoan District of Shenzhen City in southern China's Guangdong Province are now 6 years old and have recently started their first day of school. To help teachers and classmates to tell them apart, the mother Tan Chaoyun has recently had numbers 1,2,3, and 4 shaved onto their heads.
The four boys are respectively named Jiang Yunlong, Jiang Yunxiao, Jiang Yunhan and Jiang Yunlin from eldest to youngest. They look the same from appearance and they are provided the same living supplies by their parents otherwise a quarrel even fight could happen between them. Tan Chaoyun told reporters that the quadruplets have the same height and figure and only differ from each other by single or double eyelids, even their father could not tell them apart exactly sometimes. It happened once that the second son made a mischief but the third was scolded by mistake.
Late August 2012 when Tan brought her four sons to register with primary school, the teacher expressed the difficulty to differentiate them from each other. The mother Tan thought over and finally found an idea. The next day she brought her quadruplets to a barber shop and asked the hairdresser to shave numbers 1, 2, 3, 4 into the hair of her sons. It was not easy job and it took the barber nearly an hour to finish the task.
Now it is much easy to tell the quadruplets from each other. On the first day of the school, the four boys became stars in the limelight.
