A Chinese woman stripped herself nude on the street in Shenzhen on March 21 and demanded her former boyfriend come out of his company and pay off debts he owed her.

The woman, apparently getting mad, striped off all her clothes in front of the Shengtang Building, where her former boyfriend was working in, on boisterous Chegongmiao Road in Futian District, Shenzhen, Guangdong province in south China on the morning of March 21. Waving a knife on her neck and threatening to commit suicide, the woman demanded her former boyfriend come out of the building and pay off the debts he owed her.

The naked woman drew a large crowd of onlookers. According to some witnesses, the woman said her former boyfriend had cheated her of her feeling for three years and borrowed 7 million RMB from her but never paid back.

The woman was later taken away by police but the man did not appear until the last minute.

A reporter from Southern Metropolis Daily did some digging on the incident. A security guard of the building told the reporter that the woman had come there several times before. And she usually went up to the seventh floor of the building where her former boyfriend’s company is located, but this time she appeared very excited and stripped naked on the street!

According to the Southern Metropolis Daily, the woman once published a post online and accused her boy friend had cheating her of her affection for him. They got to know each other through a dating website. “The man was humorous, caring and skilled at winning the heart of women”, the post said. The woman claimed she lent 1.07 million RMB to the man to help him to run a startup high-tech company, only to find the man had other women.

But when the reporter interviewed her former boy friend, the man with the surname Zhang refuted he owed her 1.07 million RMB. The man said they had parted with each other for two years and he paid her 400,000 RMB as compensation. But the woman demanded recently that he pay another 1 million. Mr. Zhang confirmed they got know to each other in 2009 through a dating website but he refused to reveal the reason why they separated. He claimed most of what the women wrote in the online post was fabricated. Mr. Zhang even said he was at thmoment not the legal person of the high-tech company that is located on the 7th floor in the Shengtang Building. But after checking with checked with Shenzhen Industry and Commerce Bureau, the reporter from Southern Metropolis Daily found the legal person of the company was still Mr. Zhang.
