An 8-year-old little girl was rescued after she had her head stuck between bars of the anti-theft net of her sixth storey apartment balcony in Wenzhou city of eastern China’s Zhejiang province.

On the afternoon of June 22, an 8-year-old little girl was seen by one of her neighbours dangling from the balcony anti-theft net of her sixth storey apartment, Chinese media reported.

With her head stuck between the security bars, the girl was trying to hold her body up by grasping two bars with her hands and resting one of her feet on a supporting bar underneath.

Some neighbors rushed to her No. 603 apartment but found the door was locked from inside.  A neighbor from one storey below tried to reach her but failed, so he called firefighters for help.

Rescuers from the local firefighting bureau broke down the door of her apartment, and pulled the girl to safety.

The girl, who had been left home alone, climbed onto the anti-theft railings of the balcony to see what had happened, when she fell through the railings but was saved with her head got stuck between the bars.
