Previous forced demolition of buildings on both sides of the Changgang Road have left two lines of half demolished buildings, presenting a bizarre landscape of dangerous buildings in Nanning.

The dangerous buildings were left along both sides of the Changgang Road in Nanning, capital city of southwestern China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, after a forced demolition campaigned by the city to broaden the road, reported.

All houses standing right within a line defined by Nanning officials were ordered to be demolished or at least be partly demolished.

Some of the houses look as if they will collapse at any time.

Everyone knows living in theses houses is life-threatening, but without alternative houses, many of the owners of the half demolished houses have no choice but to live in these dangerous buildings.
