As many as 645 pieces of entire wolf skin were intercepted by Beijing custom officials on way of being smuggled into China.

Beijing custom officials seized 645 pieces of whole wolf skin which were not on list for custom clearance on August 9, 2013. This is the case Beijing customs have ever discovered that involves smuggling the largest number of products from animals that are on the brink of extinction or being protected, reported.

It is said that a certain trading company tried to hide the wolf skin among some imports classified as furs when applied for custom clearance.
